Thank you so much for asking me to draw him :heart:

The story behind it is quite interesting :D *the-keziahs is intrigued by Raphaël's always upset face and short temper, and she asked me if it was possible to see him smiling, his own way of smiling of course. It was really hard to draw because I know exactly how and when it's possible to see him like that but... I can't draw it correctly at all o_O and I can't explain the way he is smiling either, its way too hard, but I hope this drawing will be able to show it anyway, even a little :/
Raphaël never smiles, except in very very very rare situations, and if possible when noone is looking at him. So here it is : a very small and awkward smile, with his always angry eyes...

Merci infiniment de m'avoir demandé de dessiner Raphaël, ça me touche beaucoup :heart:

L'histoire derrière ce dessin est assez intéressante :D En fait *the-keziahs est assez intriguée par le caractère très fort et perpétuellement 'dur' de Raphaël, et elle m'a demandé s'il était possible de le voir sourire....
En réalité Raphaël ne sourit strictement jamais, sauf dans de très très très rares occasions et si possible quand personne ne le regarde. Et le problème c'est que je sais exactement à quoi ressemblent ses sourires bien à lui, mais je suis totalement incapable de les dessiner correctement, ni de les expliquer clairement o_O Alors bon j'espère que ce dessin est quand même à peu près à la hauteur de la tentative :/
Voici donc Raphaël en train de sourire de manière un peu maladroite, et avec ses sourcils perpétuellement froncés... (comment qu'on dit "sourcils perpétuellement froncés" en angliche ? -__- )

Ooh, at the moment I saw this I thought he looks almost exactly like two of my favourite musicians, who also happen to be some of the sweetest persons I've met^^ The other guy has just the same type of wary smile, only exception is that his gaze is always open and warm. He doesn't really, really smile that often, he always wears that "hidden" smile people don't always even notice, but I've been lucky enough to see his real, open smile on a train trip back to north from the capital city while we were chatting in the restaurant car. And I still think that's one of most beautiful smiles in the world, so that memory makes this definitely one of my favourite pieces from you :aww: :hug:

You're welcome, it's always nice to drop by to your gallery and see something new, beautiful art on every visit^^ Yeah, I still cherish that couple hours as one of my favourite memories, it was definitely the best train trip I've had :aww:
